Privacy Policy
Short version: ColorCove has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics at the moment. Your bundle and your online coloring are saved only in your own browser. This page explains the details and what will change if ads or analytics are added later.
Who is responsible
ColorCove (colorcove-9um.pages.dev) is run by Ahmad Ali. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact page (contact email coming soon β see the contact page).
Information we collect
We do not ask you for personal information. There are no user accounts, no comments and no logins. You can browse, download, print and color without telling us who you are.
There is no newsletter yet. If one is launched, this policy will be updated first, naming the email provider and how to unsubscribe.
Data stored in your browser (localStorage)
Some features save data on your own device using your browser's localStorage. This data is not sent to us:
cc-bundle: the list of pages you added to your bundle, so the counter and the Bundle builder remember them.cc-color-<page>: your work-in-progress picture in the online colorer, so you can continue later on the same device.
Bundle PDFs, including any name you type for the cover page, are created inside your browser and are not uploaded. To delete this data, clear the site data for ColorCove in your browser settings, or use the Clear button in the colorer.
Cookies
ColorCove does not currently set any cookies of its own, and it does not load advertising or analytics scripts.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Links to other sites
"Save to Pinterest" buttons are plain links. Nothing from Pinterest loads until you click one. Once you leave ColorCove, the other site's privacy policy applies.
Future advertising and analytics
To keep the pages free, ColorCove may later show ads and use privacy-respecting analytics. Before either is switched on, this policy will be updated to:
- name the ad network and analytics provider, and the cookies or similar technologies they use;
- explain personalized versus non-personalized ads;
- describe how to give or withdraw consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, UK and some US states), a consent banner will ask before non-essential cookies are used.
Children's privacy
Many of our pages are made for children, and we expect children to use them with a parent, carer or teacher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and the site has no features that ask children for personal details. If an ad network is added, it will be configured for child-directed treatment and non-personalized ads where pages are aimed at children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to its use. Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, most requests can be met simply by clearing your browser storage. For anything else, get in touch.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change too. Material changes, such as adding ads, analytics or a newsletter, will be described here before they take effect.
